What are you thinking? Lewis is a small island suspended in time. Have you no scrupples? While we are at it, why not build a few hundred condos, after all it's untouched beach and ocean property.
What has happened to our sense of sensibility? What makes us humans think that it's ok to invade and destroy sensitive and delicate eco-systems. Everytime we build yet another monster 'something' we displace nature. Leave the damn Island alone! And perhaps we will be able to hold onto at least one spot on the planet that hasn't been raped by $$$$'s. Put the windmills somewhere where they will not displace any living creature. Our sustainability depends on being much more aware of what we are doing to our very own longevity on this planet. Short term quick fixes will not sustain us into the generations to come, in fact, we will extinct ourselves rapidly just the way we are going right now. We mess with nature, we mess with our own survival as a specie. Hey! But who cares???? A small group of global citizens? It's not good enough.
