In return for your help on organic farm, gardens and smallholdings, you receive meals (usually organic!), accommodation and learning opportunities.
A national organisation, WWOOF provides a contact mechanism between hosts and volunteers. No money changes hands, volunteers get the experience and food/bed for free, only paying for their own travel. Hosts get a helping hand, the rewards of helping volunteers with language, culture, learning, etc. And it’s fun for everyone!
